Drake just might be the man to finally break the stigma that the world of professional wrestling has. The Drake character of Hulk Hogan, himself, will be the focal point of the program on television tonight. The WWE looks to have a blast with this brand new show with the enormous popularity of the Hulk Hogan character and history.
While there is a harsh reality in that the WWF itself has not been as strong as it once was in the recent past, the world of professional wrestling is still thriving and in very good shape. The World Wrestling Federation has seen its share of struggles in recent years, but the fact remains that there are still many people around the world who enjoy this type of entertainment. The once invincible Hulk Hogan is actually the one who has caused the WWF to go through some tough times. However, it appears that this new wrestler on the WWF roster may well prove to be the key to the future success of the WWE.
Before the very public and dramatic rise of Hulk Hogan, the late Shawn Michaels was able to create his own distinct character and captivate the world by becoming a three-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion. He did this by proving that he could be an immensely successful wrestler. For years, this man was the one person everyone wanted to see in the ring and when he retired he also created the Hall of Fame worthy Eddie Guerrero character.
After losing the title, it was only a matter of time before a wrestler like Drake would emerge as the star of this extremely popular series on television. While it will certainly be great to see Drake come out to the WWE Universe, it is also clear that he will also have to compete against what is already a very popular character in the industry. Drake will have to prove that he can stand up to the very serious nature of Eddie Guerrero, a name which will not be easy for him to defeat.
While there is much history between the two characters, it will be the credibility of Eddie Guerrero that will probably be the more challenging. Guerrero is very well known for his exaggerated brutality, but there is no doubt that Drake is going to have to put up a good fight in order to win. The fact that Drake is so well known as the preppy kid who is getting his dream job is going to be very difficult for him to overcome. There will be fans who don’t like this new addition to the roster at all, but there will also be a very large number of people who will thoroughly enjoy this new wrestler.
Drake will also be in competition with the character of Eddie Guerrero, the most famous wrestler in the WWE roster. The idea behind his character is to bring back some of the old school brutality that is normally associated with the WWF. This is a change from the hardcore style of pro wrestling that most fans were accustomed to seeing in the past. The wrestling fans that follow the WWE Universe will probably be very happy with the transition, as they will definitely not be unhappy with the character either.
When it comes to expectations for Drake and Eddie Guerrero, there are no real surprises as to how this matchup will end up. Drake is a talented and attractive young man who can make any people feel good about themselves when they watch the show. This is something that no matter what direction the WWF takes, the character of Eddie Guerrero will always be a top draw. It will not take much effort to keep Drake from being a top attraction.
On the other hand, Eddie Guerrero will always be a popular performer in the WWE Universe. He is a man who is given to bragging about his ability to beat anyone, including Hulk Hogan, and Drake will have to do everything in his power to avoid that kind of threat. Drake will have a very challenging task ahead of him as he tries to conquer Eddie Guerrero’s position as the top star in the WWE Universe.
