Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries has long been an entrepreneur. He has had his own business for many years now. However, he took a leap forward in his business career by becoming a public-sector project manager in 1995.

His main objectives in being a public-sector project manager was to improve the company’s management skills and ensure that all employees were aware of his vision. His objective was to build a company that would attract more resources as its capability grew. As a public-sector project manager, he was also responsible for implementing projects that would be carried out by the government. According to him, this meant that he was always working towards building up the government’s revenue base by implementing projects which are approved by the government.

Unfortunately, according to him, there were many political pressures at work as the projects which were to be implemented were often unpopular and even controversial. He further stated that when he started working in the government, it was like going into war. This was because he was the only private person in the world which was working within the government’s system and in relation to government projects.

The Chairman believes that the business of the company should not be related to the demands of politics. He believes that business should be run without any regard to any political agenda. Thus, he has introduced the idea of setting up a non-political foundation for his company. He has also started setting up charitable trusts so that he can be a source of inspiration and motivation for many young Indians and to help them set up charitable trusts.

Aam Aadmi Foundation was launched in 2020 by Mukesh Ambani to help people who had lost their jobs due to the recession. The Chairman of Reliance Industries also helps make donations to the foundation.

Recently, Mr. Ambani was instrumental in establishing a foundation to help students from the Indian and Filipino communities. The foundation also provides scholarships for students to pursue their studies at a reputed University. There is a lot of media coverage about Mr. Ambani’s philanthropic efforts.

In spite of the rising pressure on the economy, Mukesh Ambani continues to run his business efficiently. His companies continue to increase their market share in the Indian consumer market.

Mukesh Ambani has led his business successfully since his start in the field of telecommunications. He has always been involved in developing telecom technology. He is one of the few businessmen who have gained a lot from the onset of deregulation in the country.
