Mr. Mukesh Ambani is India’s richest man and the number one industrialists, and a prominent industrialist in the UK. Born in 1930, Mukesh Ambani has spent the majority of his life manufacturing and selling goods in the name of Reliance Industries Ltd. He is also known for being the youngest ever Chairman of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.

Mukesh Ambani has a fair idea about the growth of his company and how it has affected the lives of thousands of people across the world. It was not that long ago that the company was just a one man show and hardly had the commercial viability to produce any real impact on the country’s economy. The company was very much into making watches, cars, shoes, plastic etc. only.

Mukesh Ambani was always aware of the reality that most businessmen would love to create a good name for themselves, yet only a few do this, while the rest leave the glory to others. These people are well aware of the things that can make them famous in the world of business but do not have the strategy to bring their names to the world. In his capacity as Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd, Mukesh Ambani has been active in strengthening the brand image of the company.

Mukesh Ambani was not shy of public speaking and used to give speeches around the globe. During his travels, he would always spend time to meet with local business people to give them some vital information. Through these interactions, Mukesh Ambani gained an impression of the poor state of the economic situation prevailing in the country at that time. That’s why he decided to go ahead and create a new and innovative manufacturing firm that could improve the standard of living of the common man.

Mukesh Ambani learnt about the plans and objectives of the company from the bank manager of an acquaintance. Being the Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd Mukesh Ambani planned to achieve the highest quality products with the best of service.

Mukesh Ambani did not want the company to be run on a profit margin basis. The company always focuses on manufacturing value for money products and adding new innovations that will make the lives of its customers easier.

Mukesh Ambani’s plan was to give the corporate world a makeover. It was at this time that Mukesh Ambani knew the importance of keeping a strong and wide network of suppliers and distributors, because this would enable him to get good prices on raw materials from its various vendors.

Mukesh Ambani is also well aware of the role that his company plays in the daily lives of the people, from the personal level to the corporate sector. His company also focuses on the quality of life of its customers. Mukesh Ambani made a firm decision that the company needs to concentrate on doing good things, while its focus should be on solving the problems of the common man.
